Hummus for beginners

This preparation was born in the Middle East, today is the typical food in countries like Syria, Israel and Turkey. The hummus is known for being a delight, also it has many health benefits.



Recipe sent by:


-1 can or jar of chickpeas (without liquid)
-1 clove garlic
-The juice 1 or 2 lemons
-2 of olive oil
-Water to taste to achieve the desired consistency (1 to 3 cups)
-Pepper of cayenne
– Azucena Chip Tortillas.


  1. First you put the chickpeas and the garlic in the food processor or blender
  2. Then put all the other ingredients in order.
  3. Add salt and pepper cayenne
